Magneti Ljubljana d.d. produces various types of polymer bonded magnets based on several types of magnetic materials (NdFeB, SmCo, SrFe…) and binders (PA12, PPS, Epoxy…). Polymer bonded magnets are best suited for magnets of very complex shapes, of a wide range of dimensions and magnetic properties. Besides the standard types of polymer bonded magnets represented in this catalogue, other feasible customer requirements can also be met.

Sintered AlNiCo magnets also excel in high maximum operating temperatures and good corrosion resistance. Sintering is better than casting for more complex forms and usually smaller dimensions.

    REMAG SmCo5

    Remag SmCo5

    Sintered SmCo5 magnets are produced in a similar way as Sm2Co17 magnets, yet they have lower magnetization and also slightly lower maximum operating temperature. SmCo5 magnets are best for applications where only low magnetization fields can be applied andwhich still require quite high temperature stability.

      REMAG Sm2Co17

      Remag Sm2Co17

      SmCo magnets (including Sm2Co17) have much higher coercivity than AlNiCo magnets. This means that they are more resistant to demagnetizing fields. On the other hand they have still significantly higher maximum operating temperatures than NdFeB magnets.
