Upgrade of e-business in the company with the help of external providers

Tender for the establishment or upgrade of electronic commerce in SMEs in the period 2017-2018 “E-BUSINESS 2017-2018”

The purpose of the operation
By upgrading e-commerce, we want to improve our position on the market. This can be achieved by increasing the visibility on the web, which in turn brings more business partners. We decided to set up a new web site, an online store, create a promotional video, and introduce our company to the digital showroom. We also found that more and more potential partners require a secure connection of information systems, so we decided to set up this as part of the project.

Goals and results
The goals of the project are to create a secure connection of our information system with information systems of key customers (electronic exchange between partners), to publish a presentation of our company and products in digital form on digital showroom (digitalization of performances at trade fairs), to create a web page (foreign market websites) and online store (online store), and create a presentation video (product-sales video). As part of the creation of a new website, we want to redefine the LinkedIn corporate profile and set up the Facebook page for the company.

The project is founded by Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and European Regional Development Fund. The focus of the project is to implement the technology of 3D printing in the field of polymer bonded magnets. The introduction of 3D printing using the method of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) as an alternative technology for the production of polymer bonded magnets is aimed at lowering costs of a small-scale production while preserving good magnetic and mechanical properties, such as those obtainable by injection moulding. The main goals of the research project are to identify: (i) the optimal composition and properties of compound (filament) used for 3D printing of polymer bonded magnets and (ii) the optimal processing parameters of 3D printing, which would give printed polymer bonded magnets characteristics similar to those produced by injection moulding.
