Development of innovative “waste-to-value” technologies for the sustainable recycling of rare earths and multi-value recycling of magnets

Development of innovative “waste-to-value” technologies for the sustainable recycling of rare earths and multi-value recycling of magnets

The project enables the sustainable transformation of rare-earth-containing waste into high-performance Nd-Fe-B magnets using innovative “waste-to-value” technologies. The main objectives of the project are to enable high-efficiency REE classification and extraction, produce high-purity metallic precursors, and design next-generation magnets for electromobility needs.
